A beautiful website can communicate an atmosphere, but it cannot answer every question about a practitioner or a session. Before inviting someone into your home, it is reasonable to ask for the information you need. An enquiry should leave room for practical scrutiny as well as curiosity.
Ask about the person and the service
You can request details of training, insurance and the kinds of bodywork actually offered. Ask whether the proposed session is within the practitioner’s scope and what happens if it is not suitable. Avoid assuming that a title such as holistic or tantric tells you everything about professional preparation.
Ask about the visit itself
Find out what equipment is used, whether stairs affect access, how much space is needed and what clothing options are available. Confirm what your chosen appointment includes and whether travel is included in the quoted total for your area. The available session lengths are explained on the home page; the final arrangement and price should be clear before you commit.
Ask about changing the plan
How are cancellations handled? What happens if you want to end early? How will your details be used? These are ordinary booking questions, not signs that you intend to cause difficulty. You can keep a short list and decide which answers are essential for you. If a reply leaves an important point vague, ask again or take more time. There is no need to book simply because you have started the conversation.
Which answer would make the biggest difference to your decision?
